Lektron, Inc. is a manufacturer of assemblies and subassemblies for the
defense, aerospace and commercial industry.
Our History
In June of 1991, Lektron began its history as a manufacturer of military
electromechanical assemblies. The company's basic
philosophy consisted of prompt delivery and quality standards which met and
exceeded the customer's requirements. In April of 1993, the business
incorporated and became Lektron, Inc. The basic business philosophy continued
after incorporation and in March of 1994, Lektron, Inc. was awarded Blue Ribbon
status by the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville,
Alabama. Out of 40 applicants, Lektron, Inc. was the tenth company selected for
this award, and had the best
performance with its perfect record of on-time delivery and quality. In 1996,
the company expanded its line of services to include metrology equipment kitting
for its military customers. In July of 2003, Lektron acquired an 18,000
square foot machining facility located in Arab, Alabama. This acquisition
enabled Lektron, Inc. to more effectively control the quality and delivery
of items produced for its customers. In January of 2004, Lektron, Inc.,
moved into a newly constructed state of the art facility in Hartselle, Alabama, equipped
with humidity and ESD control of all manufacturing areas.
Future Plans
In order to broaden our business base, Lektron, Inc. is actively pursuing
the military and aerospace market. Our
growth continues in these markets with the addition hydraulic and fluid cooling
products. We foresee continued
expansion of our product line while maintaining the level of quality and
on time delivery that our customers have come to expect.
